Why does Tripartie perform a bank imprint?

Do you have to be solvent to send an offer?

The bank imprint allows Tripartie to ensure the solvency of the buyer before sending the offer to the seller. Tripartie only debits the bank card if the offer is accepted. The payment is only transferred to the seller once the transaction is finalised.

The bank imprint is automatically cancelled if the offer is declined by the seller or after 5 days if it has not been accepted.

Good to know: Bank imprints have a direct impact on your payment limit. They are also visible from the payment limit gauge, which is displayed separately from other payments. However, the bank imprint does not impact your balance.
